Why are people assuming I know nothing about tattoos?

I would never get a name. That's complete nonsense, not to mention, a horrible jinx. Everyone knows this.

I would never get one "Just because". All of my tattoos mean something deep to me, I'm not into that whole, "Hey let's scar my skin so I can be COOL like you guys!"

Don't bash my integrity, please. ESPECIALLY if you don't know me.

I made this post in the hopes that someone would give me insight into something that I could form into a larger piece. Sure, there are a ton of things that mean something to me. But I want to incorporate a lot of things into one thing. Thus, the suggestion. I'm not looking for "Hey get this neat looking tribal thing" or "Hey lots of people have koi fish, get one of those". I'm looking for suggestions like, "Perhaps twist the general idea of (this) into something that fits you more" or "You seem to like this, maybe do that?"

That is all.

you could do a really cool upper arm phoenix tattoo, with swirly clouds and fire.
or something along those lines. something with width(like wing span) usually contours the arm well.
