For things larger than scanners, what is the optimal way to photograph large paintings? I'm having a severe problem getting good photos of my stuff, which these days is WAY larger than my scanner plate. I have a really old digital camera, but for the most part it usually does the job... however I just can't get a good photo of artwork Is it my lighting? Is it really my camera? I am too lazy to go get my camera so I don't know the specs, but.... yeah. Help?

Also, commissions. Still doing them, just don't feel like copying and pasting my list everytime I make a new journal.
