How do you photograph your artwork?

Journal Entry: Sun Jan 17, 2010, 8:16 PM
For things larger than scanners, what is the optimal way to photograph large paintings? I'm having a severe problem getting good photos of my stuff, which these days is WAY larger than my scanner plate. I have a really old digital camera, but for the most part it usually does the job... however I just can't get a good photo of artwork :( Is it my lighting? Is it really my camera? I am too lazy to go get my camera so I don't know the specs, but.... yeah. Help?

That's why there's no posts, can't get good photos :( Sowwy.

Also, commissions. Still doing them, just don't feel like copying and pasting my list everytime I make a new journal.

for all who see here. DO NOT PAY for COMMISSIONS! She took $170 from me and never delivered an art! I am just one of many whom she has done this to. BEWARE

Do not commission this person. She will take your money, give you a sketch and will not complete it. She will tell you that she has not forgotten about the art that is owed and given enough time it will not be completed or will be willing to reply to messages sent with requests for a refund of partial payment.
